Dr. Companioni was born and raised in Miami, FL, graduating valedictorian from Florida Christian School. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Miami graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in neuroscience and a minor in finance and chemistry. She obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with distinction from the University of North Carolina. She also completed UNC’s renowned Orthodontics residency program graduating with a Master of Science and Certificate in Orthodontics. She is certified by and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.
Dr. Companioni is fluent in English and Spanish. Now back in South Florida, Dr. Companioni is passionate about helping patients experience the same life-changing benefits that first inspired her to enter the field. She genuinely enjoys getting to know her patients and providing custom smile transformations.

She maintains her involvement with the UNC Dental Trauma Team, an interdisciplinary team specializing in innovative solutions for children with missing or traumatized teeth. Dr. Companioni is also involved with the American Association of Orthodontists and stays abreast on the latest advancements in the field.
In her time away from the office, Dr. Companioni loves to spend time with her husband and son, traveling and exploring new places. She is a University of Miami Hurricanes and University of North Carolina Tar Heels fan.
